With more than 20 years of experience in occupational health and safety, I am passionate about helping organizations build safer workplaces through effective auditing, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Throughout my career, I have worked or assisted a wide range of over 20 industries including Oil & Gas, Environmental, Construction, Mining and Minerals, Utilities and Energy, Forestry, Technology and Innovation, Hospitality, Facility Management, Manufacturing, Transportation and Logistics, Sustainable Energy, Retail, Refineries, Gas Plants, Engineering, Architecture, and Staffing Services. My experience ranges from frontline field operations to senior leadership roles, providing me with a practical understanding of the challenges organizations face in managing health and safety programs. I have developed and led comprehensive auditing programs for large organizations operating across Canada and the United States.

Prior to founding KMR Safety, I spent years working as a consultant and working in the corporate settings as well as five years with Energy Safety Canada (formerly Enform) as an Audit Advisor in the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program. In that role, I reviewed COR and SECOR audits, supported auditors, contributed to the development of audit protocols, and helped ensure consistency and quality within the COR system.

As a certified external auditor for both the Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships (AASP) and Energy Safety Canada (ESC), I specialize in COR and SECOR audits, safety management system evaluations, gap analyses, and health and safety consulting. My approach focuses on more than compliance—I work with organizations to identify practical opportunities for improvement that strengthen safety culture and support long-term success. With my extensive connections in the occupational health and safety field I have relationships with other professionals and can offer team auditing for larger more complex audits.
